Smartphones officially announced in August 2013

1. 1st August 2013 – Motorola Moto X
Moto X is the first phone released after Google bought Motorola for USD 12.5 billion in 2012 . It is a compact smartphone with 4.7 inch curved screen and 10 MP Clear Pixel camera. Moto X doesn’t offer the latest hardware specs, however it has a decent hardware for smooth user experience. The best part of Moto X is the extensive customization possible.

2. 7th August 2013 – LG G2
LG G2G2, the new flagship from LG, is officially announced on Wednesday – 7 August. LG has dropped Optimus from the name of their flagship, so it is officially named as only LG G2. This super-phone runs on the new Snapdragon 800 2.26GHz Quad core processor and powerful Adreno 330 graphics processor. It feels quite compact in hand even with its 5.2″ display due to its thin bezel and it is slightly bigger than its competitor Galaxy S4.

Cons: Unusual placement of the power and volume buttons at the back, Fingerprint magnet, No Micro-SD card slot
